Animal Care TechField Study Trip 
 
Become a true animal care technician learning about the best practices of animal handling and care. 
 
Activities:
Animal Handling
Animal Care Bathing
Chinchilla Experience

Schedule:
30-minute:  Introduction to Animal Handling
30 minutes:  Animal Handling Techniques
30 minutes:  LUNCH (all participants must bring lunch and a water bottle) 
30 minutes: Introduction to Animal Bathing and Care 
15 minutes: Bathing procedures with different animals
15 minutes: Chinchilla Experience
 
IMPORTANT:

The teacher must stay present in the studio lab during the duration of the field study trip. 
 
Please note that we will add 7% for registration and credit card fees to your transaction.
 
No refunds will be issued for the cancellation of any event. You may reschedule your event to another Nature Postings available day or transfer your deposit to another person at no cost. Please contact the Nature Postings office for any cancellation and transfer requests. There will be a 7% additional charge for registration, credit card, and administration fee.
 
Any behavior that could trigger damage to animals, guests, or staff will finalize the activity with no refund.
 
No alcohol or smoke is permitted during the activity for the safety of animals and guests.
 
Rules and procedures will be discussed at the beginning of the activity, participants must follow each of them. Participants not following the procedures will be removed from the area for the safety of the participants on the field trip.
