During snacks, we offer a variety of pre-packaged options, such as chips, cookies, gummies, and juices. If your child has special allergies, we encourage you to pack extra snacks in the lunch box for this time.
MEETING LOCATION:
Our meeting location is at our Nature Postings Studio and Lab located at 20321 Old Cutler Rd, Cutler Bay, Florida 33189.
NO CELL PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED
The Nature Apprentices' job is to enhance all science- and nature-based activities for kids participating in the program. Cellphones or any electronics are NOT allowed during working hours. They can keep them in their backpack, but never outside.
HOURS AND DROP-OFF/PICK-UP PROCEDURE:
Program hours for all apprentices are 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Drop-off and pick-up will be held behind the building to prevent people from entering the facility. Please follow the signs in the parking lot and drive around. Parents or visitors are not allowed inside the studio to avoid contamination and keep several participants safe. All apprentices must report to work at 8:00 am and be picked up by 5 pm.
BIKES, HELMETS, AND WATER BOTTLE HOLDERS
Bikes and helmets are required every day. Due to the limited space, we do not allow participants to leave their bikes in the facility. Please make sure to check your apprentices’ bike before camp starts, this includes breaks and tires. Biking is our only way of transportation between activities. To minimize the contact of water bottles with other water bottles, we require a water bottle holder for each bike or a basket where apprentices can keep their water bottles while biking. WE DO NOT ALLOW camel bags; this does not keep the water cold enough, and apprentices get tired of carrying them in the bag. We bike up to 10 miles in one day.
NO REFUND DUE TO LIMITED SPACE:
We understand family emergencies, surprise vacations, and sickness, but our program has limited space. Last-minute cancellations limit the opportunities for other families to be part of the adventures. Refunds will not be available. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
REGISTRATION FEES
Our sales include an additional 7% registration fee. These fees include credit card, bank, and website fees. These fees are nonrefundable.
