We are extremely excited about our NATURE APPRENTICE TRAINING on JANUARY 25, 2025. We have prepared a series of training to equip your teenager with different activities offered at our company. Nature Apprentices will be trained in three areas: animal care technician, experiential learning, and outdoor adventure (kayaking). After the training, apprentices will be able to participate in programs and events throughout the year.
This training will be divided into two sessions, indoor and outdoor. The indoor sessions will take place at our Nature Postings Lab. The outdoor adventures session will take place at Lakes by the Bay Park and we will bike to the location. We want to make sure our apprentices are having the best time possible and here is the list of materials to bring:
- MUST BRING:
- Black shirt. We will be providing the uniform at the training to change into upon arrival.
- BLACK Closed Toe shoes (no crocs, or sandals)
- Khaki pants/short
- 2 Refillable water bottles
- Bike
- Helmet
- Bike Water Holder or Basket to carry water on bike
- Apply bug spray (keep extra in the lunch box)
- Apply sunscreen (keep extra in the lunch box)
- Lunch (NO NUTS POLICY)
- Bring a Towel
- Bathing Suit or clothes that can get wet
- Change of clothes (ONLY UNIFORM IS ALLOWED)
- Water shoes (NO CROCS)
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
- Bring a carry-on snack in a Ziploc bag or lunch box
- NO NUTS POLICY: avoid peanuts and nuts due allergies.
LIABILITY AND REGISTRATION FORMS
All apprentices must fill out a registration and liability form priorto the training. This form is located at:

UNIFORM REQUIRED EVERY DAY
Uniforms will be provided during the training. Nature Apprentices are required to wear them every time they participate in an event or program. During water activities, they are also required to wear a uniform. Uniform includes:
- Nature Postings T-Shirt
- Nature Postings Rash guard for water activities
- Nature Postings Hat/Visor
- BLACK closed toe SHOES or tennis. (no crocs or sandals)
BREAKFAST BEFORE THE PROGRAM:
It is very important that your child eats a good breakfast rich in protein and whole grains before coming to the program due intensity of activities.
MEETING LOCATION:
OUR meeting location is at our Nature Postings Studio and Lab located at 20321 Old Cutler Rd, Cutler Bay Florida 33189.
NO CELL PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED
The job of the Nature Apprentices is to enhance all science and nature-based activities for all participants. Cellphones or any type of electronics are allowed during working hours. They can keep them in their backpack but never outside.
HOURS AND DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURE:
Training hours are 9:00am-5:00pm. All apprentices must bring a bike and a helmet. They will park the bikes next to Nature Postings Studio. No other person besides the registered apprentices will be allowed inside the studio. Pick up will be at 5pm at the studio.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
After each day, we will be postings photos of the adventures on our INSTAGRAM page. Please like our page and enjoy the adventures from home!
BIKES, HELMETS, AND WATER BOTTLE HOLDERS
Bikes and helmets are required for training. Please make sure to check your apprentices’ bike before training, this includes breaks and tires. Biking is our only way of transportation between activities. To minimize the contact of water bottles with other water bottles, we are REQUIRING water bottle holder for each bike or a basket where apprentices can keep their water bottles while biking. WE DO NOT ALLOW camel bags; this does not keep the water cold enough, and apprentices get tired of carrying them in the bag.
NO REFUND DUE LIMITED SPACE:
We understand family emergencies, surprise vacations, and sickness but our program has limited space. Last-minute cancellations limit the opportunities for other families to be part of the training. Refunds will not be available. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
TRAINING DAY
Training day is REQUIRED in order to participate in any Nature Postings program. During training, apprentices are required to bring all items described above including lunch, bike, and clothes to get wet. Come ready in Khaki pants or shorts and black shoes for the training.

10:30-11:30: Animal Bathing procedures
11:30-12:00- Lunch
12:00-1:00- Experiential Learning Techniques
1:00-2:00- Biking Procedures and Bike to Lakes by the Bay Park
2:00-3:00- Kayaking Tranining
3:00-4:00- Bike back to the lab
4:00-5:00- Wrap-Up and Conclusion
